What a Traditional Service Includes
A traditional funeral service at Plunkett McFillin typically begins with a visitation or viewing, held at our Hatboro funeral home, where family and friends can gather, offer condolences, and spend quiet time with their loved one. The funeral service follows — whether in our facility, at a local church, or another meaningful setting. The service may include readings, prayers, music, and personal reflections chosen by your family. Following the service, we coordinate the funeral procession to the cemetery of your choice, where a graveside committal service takes place.
Throughout, our staff handles every logistical detail — filing the death certificate, coordinating with clergy or officiants, arranging transportation, preparing the obituary, and providing personalized memorial stationery — so your family can focus entirely on being together.
