Gerald Thomas Humin
February 16, 1952 – September 22, 2026
Gerald “Gerry” Humin, of Hatboro, Pennsylvania, passed peacefully into Heaven on September 22, 2026, at the age of 74.
“Fish will always tremble when they hear his name.”
Gerry enjoyed many things in life, his love of fishing, spending time at the Jersey Shore, getaways to the mountains, and following the Phillies and the Eagles. He took great pride in caring for his lawn and garden, and often made sure his family members’ yards were well kept. Gerry would take the time to appreciate the birds when they visited the bird bath in his back yard. He quickly became the best of friends with every dog he met. He especially loved Christmas and the warmth and traditions that came with the holiday. Gerry was unmatched in his thoughtful gesture of making sure his nephews and nieces received birthday cards on time. He made sure he’d be the one to take his nephews and nieces fishing for the first time. Gerry was often the first one to arrive when a family member was in need.
Gerry is reunited in Heaven with his beloved parents, Henry and Dorothy Humin, his cousin Billy Brawner, his cousin Janice Yocco, his cousin-in-law Dave Getsinger, and his niece, Brynn Schneider.
He is survived by his brother, Ron Humin; cousins Annmarie Getsinger, Kiki and Harvey Orkin, Bob and Dawn Gerczak and Lorraine Bury; nephews Brian Woolston and Kevin Woolston, niece Penny Woolston; great-nieces Stephanie, Amber, Grace, and Ava; and his dear friend Rainelle Mazzarelli.
Gerry will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on in the places and things he loved, and in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at St. John Bosco Parish at 215 E. County Line Rd. Warminster, Pennsylvania,18974, beginning at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass at 10:30 a.m. Gerry's interment will take place at St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont, PA.
